Great place for kids to play and run around the play structure. I like that the ground at the playground no longer has sand. Instead it has a rub cushion surface throughout the playground. However i am disappointed with their bathrooms that were closed.

Godfrey Park is nice. There's tables and chairs to use for potluck. There's a park and basketball court to use. When I was there, I ate potluck and played frisbee. The field is big enough to have multiple games going. Volleyball and frisbee and soccer are the main sports to play. The park is friendly and it doesn't bite :)

Nice park on the outskirts of Alameda near the airport. All new play structures! Basketball courts, soccer and baseball fields and large grass area. Kids grew up going to that park and playing soccer on the fields. Also had a cute preschool.
