The homeless are getting worse and worse each year. In the park and also in the trees on both side of bridge. Junk, clothes and trash and who knows what left behind. So disappointing when so much work went into fixing it up

We decided to meet up here for a little picnic and scenery. I don’t really understand if this is a true park or a parking lot with a dirt ramp into the Lewis River. My young kids really enjoyed throwing rocks into the river and looking at the nature. We walked along a little trail but it ended up basically is someone’s back yard. The river is fairly high right now and I’m curious if you can walk along the river during the later summer months. There was an porta-potty and a few benches and picnic tables. I think this is probably mostly used by people floating down the river.

Not really much of a park. It is more of a Canoe and Kayak boat launch, which while primitive is perfect for getting on the water. Has a large turnaround area but limit area designated for parking. One portapotty fairly clean.
