Alot of good equipment. Clean bathrooms and steam room. I don't see too many people wiping down equipment after using it and think that the paper dispensers and spray bottles are kind of hidden from being easily seen. There's also only 2 that I've found so far but again, they're kindda hidden so there could be more but where would be a mystery. The front desk is really helpful. The personal training feels like they're trying to sell you a car but hiding the price tag.

This place started off as a premier gym in the local area. But be forewarned, these people do not truly value your membership. I have their top tier membership, which allows 1 guest. Today my wife and daughter visited the gym with my daughter as a guest. They were rudely turned away because they said it was their policy to not allow minors as guests. Imagine that! Nowhere in my contract is this stated. Their manager Timothy said it was posted on their website, which is false. I have thoroughly reviewed both my contract (which has attached club policy) and their published terms and conditions. Nowhere is it written that guests must be 18 and over. If you had any illusion of bringing your teenager from time to time as a guest to cultivate a love for gyms, you will be sorely disappointed. How sad is it that they have tarnished the Golds Gym experience for me and my family. Caveat emptor

BEWARE OF ADD-ON SCAM. I purchased the highest package with the confirmation that I could bring any guest of any age because I like to bring my underage siblings with me. A week later I bring in my younger sister (14) to do some yoga and they told me she couldn’t come in as my guest because she was a minor and that I would need to purchase a add-on package. Considering I picked her up from 2 hours away, I got the pass without thinking to enjoy my day with her and cancel it another day. About 2 weeks go by and I try to cancel in person, the first RED FLAG 🚩was when they say I must do it online or over the phone. SECOND red flag 🚩 was when I register an account and tried to sign in but it kept saying my password was wrong even after resetting it 3 times. THIRD red flag 🚩 was when I called to cancel the add-on and they said the charge for this month will be applied and so will next months per their 30day cancellation policy that was NEVER MENTIONED when creating my gym membership. I asked if there’s anything we can do to remove at minimum, one of those charges considering that the company did not relay that information and has since created a problem. Since they are a THIRD PARTY COMPANY, they cannot do anything for you and all they will offer is “sincere apologies”, tell you to go speak to a golds gym manager, and rush you off the phone. BE SURE TO ASK WHEN REQUESTING A MEMBERSHIP THAT ALLOWS GUESTS IF IT INCLUDES MINORS AND WHAT THE CANCELLATION POLICY IS. This is absolutely unacceptable and absurd to call 30 days ahead and to still be charged for the current AND following month. I really do regret switching from ESPORTA FITNESS to GOLDS GYM after this situation. You would think the company values their members and contract a third party company that shows more sincerity and take accountability for their own mistakes. AND from the reviews below it seems like golds gym doesn’t seem to care to compensate you even though their gym membership sales rep are selling their memberships under FALSE PRETENSE. All they will offer is sincere apologies and thanks for feedback “to do better/improve”. There’s a couples reviews on this going a couple months back and still here I am making a review about the same thing. So has anything really been improved? I will be going to speak to a manager and follow up on this review.
