The office staff and billing don’t care about patients questions what so ever. I was incorrectly scheduled at this office with no insurance authorization call. On top of having to pay a 75$ copayment, I had to pay for parking as a patient... then only to walk into an office where I spoke to a physicians assistant who wasn’t really sure why I was booked with Dr Bansal. When booking an appointment, front desk really needs to be more friendly and informative with passing on information. Then when I pleaded with the office on the pricing/coding... since it was improperly booked... a few months later I got a bill in the mail for over $280... and that’s not it, another hospital bill for $200. I would never return to Overlake Oncology again. Red flag, if you get referred here beware.

Dr. Goldy Bansal is an extraordinary professional. She is not only kind, caring and very knowledgeable, but also committed to help her patients to achieve the best results of the treatment. I've been her patient for several months receiving chemotherapy for lymphoma, and I feel blessed to have her as my doctor. Since the first day, she explained everything I needed to know about this disease and also about the treatment she thought was the best for me, so we made decisions on every step together. On defining my treatment, she not only thought about the present, but also about how that treatment was going to impact my future health in the long term, considering all factors involved. She's very dedicated to her work and very understanding of the difficulties and challenges I face while receiving chemotherapy, always helping me to feel comfortable and safe. Having cancer and going through chemotherapy is hard, and she has made a huge difference for me, helping me to feel confident in my recovery since the beginning, and guiding me through this process with respect and support. I know that with her and her medical team I'm in the best hands. After three months of treatment, the tumor is gone and we're looking forward to have my next pet scan confirming total remission. I totally recommend her. She saved my life.
