My child is currently enrolled at Good Shepherd ECE and has been there for almost a year. We moved to Good Shepherd from another local Infant Center/Preschool that closed last year and have been very happy. The school itself is well kept, the classrooms are clean and they have great outdoor equipment. The director has been at the school for a number of years, and I remember her as a teacher when my good friend's daughter who is now 9 attended. The teachers have been there for a number of years as well, so the staff turnover rate seems low which, in my eyes means the teachers are happy to be there. The teachers and director are very good about communicating with parents, keeping us abreast of all the happenings at school and with our children. Our child is happy and thriving and excited about learning. We look forward to another year here in preparation for Kindergarten, and plan to enroll our younger child when the time comes.
Lastly, a far as the previous review regarding tuition refunding, the school's financial policy clearly states, "If the child is withdrawn during the school year, tuition paid up to and including the month of withdrawal, is not refundable. A minimum 2-week notice is required in writing."
UPDATE: My second child is now going to Good Shepherd, and they are still absolutely wonderful.
If I could give more stars, I would! My sons teachers are AMAZING!! He loves them. And all of them are kind and helpful. All of the staff at Good Shepherd clearly love the children they work with, and are dedicated to helping them thrive.
Thank you!
