Trust me. If you're a creditor, Andy Goodman is your guy. He knows bankruptcy law like no other and truly loves what he does. He's also a fierce advocate for his clients, but doesn't soft-pedal anything. If he thinks you've done something wrong or stupid, he Will tell you. But if he represents you, he will do so with everything he has, and that's a great quality IMO.
I first met Andy about 20 years ago when he was with his former firm. I had a business transaction that his colleague was handling, and Andy took over when the attorney retired. He was a no-nonsense and efficient advocate. I've told many people over the years about this great attorney who swept in and saved the day! Fast forward 20 years and I found myself in a mess with some former friends and business partners who declared bankruptcy during litigation. They hired some really nasty, bottom feeders to represent them. Andy gave me smart, sage advice about how to manage the situation and personalities and I quickly prevailed. I couldn't have done it without him. Truly.
