I regularly donate, and shop, at this location. I used to love shopping here for bargains to clothe my family and decorate our home. However, recently, I've been receiving criticism from one employee in particular about my decision to not round up at the register. One interaction she snarkily said "do you know about our programs, of course you do, you shop here often enough". Then today she told me I needed to do better research into where the funds go and maybe it'll change my mind. She immediately cops an attitude when she sees me in line, her tone is rude and condescending. I do not need to justify what I do with my money, nor do I appreciate being treated so rudely by her when I politely decline to round up. I'm considering taking our donations, and my patronage, elsewhere because it seems she is always there on the register at the times I like to shop. Which is a shame because I used to enjoy shopping here, and now they'll not only be losing out on the round up, but on any future profit from my family.
