Ronal came and quoted $130 per month, with 2 visits per month. And stated, if we need more service, it will be the same price.
He came the second time and I told him I would probably need more services and we agreed on an amount.
I then changed my mind as I wasn't sure if I needed that long, so I told him I wanted to do it month by month.
He got SUPER mad and said he couldn't do it any more.
I paid him an extra $65 for his "trouble" (basically to calm the guy, as he seemed nice).
I went on a vacation and asked him to come to do one more visit at $65. After he's done, I asked him "did you also put in more traps"? His response was a "$" (dollar sign). I asked again, and he THREATENED me he will use a collection agency because he did the work.
I explained to him, I was on vacation so I couldn't see his work, all I needed was his "acknowledgment" that he did the work, and I will Zelle him right away.
He ignored me and told me he will remove the traps.
I decided to trust the guy and paid him the $65.
I got back home just now, and saw no work done on his end whatsoever. So what I did is, I paid the guy $130 in total, 50% for "calming" him, and the rest 50% for him to come and remove the traps, which he should have done for the previous payment!
I called another company. $150, 3 visits per month, and I purposely asked the guy how many months he thinks I would need the service for (after such poor experience with Ronal). He responded, I don't think you would need more than a month of service. Unlike Ronal, he told me I should do it for half a year, a year?
Ronal's team is not only expensive, but he is also emotional and unprofessional. DO NOT USE HIM!
Oh, and he asked me to leave him positive reviews on Yelp (after leaving on Thumbtack) if I want to keep the same price for the extra visits. So, here you go, I am doing more than just Yelp, I am also posting your review on Google!
I have so far, apologized to Ronal at least four times for the misunderstandings we both might have caused, just to be courteous and respectful. So far, this guy, didn't even bother to apologize to me for any of the misunderstandings.
