Gracie Alameda has a fantastic program for kids. Coach Chelsea is knowledgable, skilled and, most importantly, very good at working with children. If you have a child new to the sport, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Coach Chelsea is one of the best Coaches you could have at Gracie Jiujitsu in Alameda. I’ve been doing jiujitsu for about 5 months and it’s great it’s a great way to take your kids off electronics and also a great way to teach your kids self defense. Gracie JiuJitsu teaches kids not to initiate a fight.

I started with Gracie JiuJitsu Alameda last year and I have to say that it was one of the best decisions I've made for myself in a long time. I thought that JiuJitsu was something that I physically wasn't qualified to do any longer due to age and being out of the Martial arts for decades now. I could not have been more wrong. The cooperative environment and the focus on purpose and technique behind each drill is exactly what I needed when it comes to building the confidence I needed in learning JiuJitsu as a Martial art for health and performance as well as self-defense.
