As usual, treats and movie are expensive even for the matinee. But pretty damn cheap for the "by the hr" entertainment.!!!
imho, The Creator was done well w character and whole story lines. And who wouldn't get sappy w the story line and watching that little girl's role..??

I am local to the area and have been here plenty of times. I went to see The Little Mermaid and was disappointed that the audio was kind of quiet and the picture was pretty dim. I also asked for an ice water at the concessions and the young lady let me know it would be the same charge as a pop. I had no problem with that. The very next night I go to see Guardians of the Galaxy which was pretty loud. I again asked for an ice water for my snacks and the new person told me they could not do that, all they had were water cups on the other side of the room by the water fountain. I was confused but did not question it as the older woman who I assumed was the owner was there assisting him (who was also there the night before as I got my food, etc.) I got my food and my water from the fountain and was on my way. I decided I at least wanted a cup of ice so I went back out to ask and the older lady (owner) acted like I was bothering her. She had me walk across the room by the fountain to get a cup for the ice when she could have just used one at the concession. I then set it on the counter, she asked me to hold it which was fine but the overall attitude and tone was bad. She wasn’t getting her way and made me feel stupid just for wanting ice. The candy is outdated, popcorn is DRY, and the picture and audio needs to be improved and CONSISTENT throughout the theater. Not sure if I'll be back since the experience/service is kind of a toss up. Bummer.

Lots of reviews on here about only taking cash when purchasing tickets, but that seems to be resolved. I visited the theater for the first time this past weekend with my family and we had no issues using a card for all purchases. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which is always a plus for a business. Yes, the theater is a little dated but it gave me that small town theater feel that I was expecting. Felt like one of the theaters I went to as a kid. Don't go here expecting the most amazing theater technology. It was fun to beat the heat and watch a movie on a big screen.
