On 6/15/2024 around 3:45 PM, I had a hair cut at this location. Less than an hour later I ended up in urgent care because they shaved my ear right after they just started to shave my hair. The blood kept flowing from my ear down to my chin. They put on many layers band-aid on my ear to stop more bleeding. After a few minutes, they continued the hair cut while I was having blood on my face and chin. I went to Overlake urgent care after it by myself. There was still blood coming out before I went to bed in the evening.
It was a huge mistake to cause laceration to my ear. It was not right to try to show me how the razor was alright before stop my bleeding. It was not right to ask me which size of band-aid I wanted to use when all I saw was blood coming out of my ear.
They clearly lack skill both in razor operation and first aid.
There are obviously many ways to ruin your weekend but I had never thought about getting injured in a barbershop to be one of them. The doctor and nurse at Overlake were also truly shocked when they heard it. Needless to say I would never set foot there or any other GreatClips and want everyone out there to be extremely cautious.
I got a okayish haircut done , the staff was welcoming when I came in, but the lady who cut my hair was very rude, 1) she finished my haircut in less than 5 minutes 2) didn’t do much even if I asked her to , just reduced length 3) was continuously looking at new customers that were coming through door during the haircut 4) half heartedly blow dried my hair, when I told her they r dripping wet please dry properly she tried but still couldn’t completely blow dry , my hair was still wet when I left 5) Due to above reasons I did not tip her because she didn’t do her job well, when I finished paying , she was like,”you did not tip?” I was like “No” she said ,” YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TIP!” very sternly .
I have tried other Great Clips branches and have always had a good experience, but this lady didn’t deserve any tip because of the service she provided and then was rude about it in the end, must say will never go to this Great Clips branch again, because of this lady :(
