Look no further, your quest to find The Unicorn of hair stylists is over. She is Le of Great Cuts Salon (not to be confused with great clips!!) located in the Sunset shopping plaza 3186 NE Sunset Blvd (next to Saars Grocery) and she is extraordinary. I found her in the most fortunate stroke of serendipity. I had cut my own hair (badly) and came to the shop looking for a rescue. What I got was arguably one of the greatest haircuts of my life! I say one of the greatest, (I have never gone elsewhere since, nor will I) because each haircut she has given me is the greatest until the next one is. Le is an artist, attentive, consistent, knowledgeable, talented and a true master of her craft. All of that plus a very clean convenient location, open daily, with ample parking. When I do a walk- in, there’s usually one in her chair, one that’s next, and maybe another and then me. Make no mistake about it, I would happily stand in a Black Friday Sale kinda line anytime for the level of service she provides, but I don't recall ever having to wait over ½ hr on a walk in. When you’re in her chair, there'll be a couple of customers behind you then too. Yet always, you get her undivided attention, and never ever rushed. She takes great care to ensure she interpreted the wishes you convey as you intended. Honestly, I wouldn’t hesitate to say…"surprise me whatever you think would look good". She is just that talented. I’ve seen a variety of her clients. Varying in age and in style, but there is one similarity they all have in common, all of her clients are happy loyal customers. Like me, they too have found their Unicorn and no other will do.
