I love this place. Really, really. The selection is amazing. No nasty, cheapo acrylic yarns here. They have everything from alpaca to fine merino wool to mixed blends that are machine friendly for washing and drying, along with prices that are extremely reasonable. So many of these skeins are hand dyed by local artisans as well. The staff are very friendly and oh-so-knowledgable -- I would expect nothing less from a locally owned business, especially one that has been here as long as it has and these ladies deliver. Once I found Great Yarns I realized I would never need to go anywhere else again, and I'm so glad I did.

Good yarn, and well stocked with lots of variety. The staff is friendly and willing to help with questions about techniques or patterns.

The best place ever to get yarn. Be ready to spend a bit because 1 you can't walk out of there with just 1 thing! 2 the yarns are mostly more pricey but they are also very high quality and have things for people looking to spend less. I got a 9$ wool sock yarn and it is wonderful to work with!
