After having a massive flood in our salon, we were very pleased to have a referral to Greater Seattle Construction. They were quick to assess the damage, work with our insurance agent, and come up with a construction plan. Our situation was challenging as we had insulation issues, bamboo flooring, and had to keep our business open during the construction. The construction team was fast, super efficient, and with very little disruption to our team. Even when the flooring took longer to come and had to acclimate, the team worked around it so we could finish on time. A big shout out to Matt (the site supervisor) and Corey for all their help in a very stressful time.

I am not a person who likes to talk poorly of others or small companies but I don't want others to go through what I have gone through. Lori is right on the button, Corey is a great dude but they subcontract out a lot and you never know who is showing up or when they are.
I had a house fire and met with several contractors on Allstate's approval list. Greater Seattle seamed down to earth, knowledgeable and responsible so I picked them. However a house restoration project that was suppose to take 4 months (agreed by Greater Seattle and Allstate) turned into 7 months and counting. Greater Seattle was fired from the project (uncompleted) for simply not showing up to work. They did not follow through on their work timeline or notify me at all of their plans to adjust the timeline. I eventually called an inspector to look at their work and I'm glad I did because they had covered up the walls without inspections or pulled permits for plumbing.
Stan is awesome and Greater Seattle's crew are good people but the bottom line is that they have too many projects going on and the people running the company don't care about the customer. Very unprofessional and hard to communicate with.

I can't say enough great things about Greater Seattle Construction. They made a very horrible situation seem completely manageable, and the end results are just fantastic. We had renters in my grandmother's house, and a faulty generator caused a fire in the garage, but the smoke damage infiltrated the entire house. This was a home built by my Grandpa and Great Grandpa in the late 1940's, so you can imagine the sentimental value. The entire team at GSC handled our house as if it was their own from the initial meeting to the final walk through. The communication was excellent and they were extremely accommodating and conscientious of our budget. The most impressive part was it didn't matter who we were dealing with - Subcontractors, Employees, Project Managers or the Owner - They all knew the details of the project and they took so much pride in their work. We truly couldn't be happier!
