Josh (owner/producer of GLS) is so amenable and attentive on a personal level that it might be easy to think he's not a hardcore pro. When we got down to a long session where $ is on the line, recording an album I have to get tracks out of state for post production on, etc., the guy was an ace. Solving technical issues which have baffled many engineers-- guy does it on the fly. He was very thorough so that he saved us actually another session because he caught something in the tracking and guided us to correcting it to save time. He was able to deliver the result with my MIDI files (tracking 'Bach in Socket' album) after several engineers failed. He did not charge me extra for his tech work and we got the results we wanted in one session.
I'd say you cannot possibly get a better studio in the area, and his price is a lot less than he is worth- $50/hr. is what he charges now and it's more like $250/hr. worth of work. My experience goes to L.A. with Grammy nominated people, Gold record, world touring musicians. Josh is top notch.

Josh (the owner) really gives his clients the 5 star treatment. He works with several different genres. Hip hop, rock, metal, punk, reggae... You name it!! Takes his time, is informative, and really pushes you to make the best recording possible.
Plus he plays a multitude of instruments, in case you don't have that skill. 🤩
