Great views on clear days from an easy transit to the summit. No water at the campground, so bring plenty of water.

This camp is well maintained by DNR and Backcountry Horsemen . There is a covered common area with 3 picnic tables and a small firepit. Large parking area with cinderblock pit toilets. Non potable water available for livestock in 2 locations. Several corrals- clean up into the manure bin. Several nice campsites, some suitable for tents, others for pull through living quarters, one large group suite. Access to several trails from the horse camp. Open on weekends from Memorial weekend to Labor Day weekend. Contact Olympic Chapter BCHW for host program.
