I was skeptical at first and after the first two sessions. I was afraid it would inflict pain and perhaps ruin my brain. The pain was minor and manageable, tapping on the skull every twenty seconds. It was a bit uncomfortable after reaching the maximum input but was easily overcome. Within about three weeks, I started noticing an appreciable change in my depression. Now at the end of the sessions, my depression is significantly better and is supposed to reach maximum effects in approximately 90 days. As far as the facility, it is very clean and well maintained. The people running the everyday communications and appointments of the center were always friendly, wonderfully acceptive and encouraging. The technicians are superb, truly superb. Their support and caring were beyond words. I looked forward to being there for the sessions and truthfully they became my friends over the time I was there. They worked very hard at operating the equipment, making sure everything was perfect, and explaining most everything to me. Dr Mac was also involved with settings and workings of the system, always encouraging and compassionate. If asked for my recommendation, I would say absolutely. Along with the miracle of TMS, the compassion, encouragement and friendliness expressed by everyone was invaluable.
