Just stopped by today to drop off a flat panel TV, but they're charging $20. The staff is super friendly and helpful, though. Open on Sat is awesome!

After calling several recycle centers with no luck. I found Green Mouse. Very positive experience, easy access for drop off. Owner, operator, Evelyn is friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable regarding recycle process, and needs of the community. Check out the article written about her in Silicon Valley Business Journal..

They courteously accept most Ewaste, some no charge and some for fee. The computer stuff they salvage or recycle for free, but Old style TVs with picture tubes and some laser printers have a $10-20 fee for disposal. It's a good idea to call ahead to know if they take it, and if there is a fee. But they help the community by safely disposing of E-Waste, and also employ some at risk youth to teach job skills. Real asset to the community.
