I've been coming here since fall '22 and the owner is always a pleasure to see. She's always very kind and helpful, but makes sure to also keep to business without much small talk. I not only come by for basic dry cleaning services for garments like my wool sweaters and pants, but I've also been coming to her for alterations too. I've mostly requested some simple hemming on my pants, but she's also done a taper for me as well as some basic repairs like for buttons. I've even had to be the difficult customer and had to have a pair of pants re-hemmed after I realize I asked for them to be a bit too short. She was very kind about it and was able to get the work done with a super quick turn around. When I came back to pick-up, she explained to me why the stitching might look a little different and that it would go away after the next time I bring them in for cleaning. I appreciated the explanation quite a bit! The prices are all very reasonable, and it's nice to support a local in Greenwood.
I totally recommend anyone looking for dry cleaning or alterations to stop in and check the place out.
Have been going to Greenwood cleaners for 3 years and was so excited to see them expand into a bigger location recently on Phinney.
However today had a very negative experience which makes me question about whether I'm come back - felt like she was very dismissive and rude towards my questions about replacing a zipper on my pants, required them to be cleaned (were already recently cleaned) before she would fix them.
Pretty bummed!
