Greenworks fixed a major blockage in our septic system. With the holidays fast approaching our septic system stopped draining properly and started backing up. Our repair job ended up being quite complex, which I'll talk more about next, but I want to say that I am extremely pleased with Greenworks and I'm writing this review because their work has gotten us through two parties and a mountain of extra laundry from a new puppy without any further issues draining our septic. In our particular case, Greenworks initially investigated our septic draining and quoted us a significant but not overwhelming amount to dig up and repair a drain pipe in the septic system. The crew were very friendly and happy to talk about what they were seeing and suggest ways we could save money by digging things up ourselves if we wanted to, while providing caution for ways that could go wrong. I really appreciated this sort of advice, and it made me confident to go with them for the repair.
When the day of the repair came, it turned up that once the pipe was uncovered, there was significantly more work that needed to be done. They brought out a vacuum truck and a jet truck to clear debris from our drain pipes, and replaced a section of pipe that had buckled. They made sure to show me evidence of the need for each repair, and were very clear about how the pricing would change and gave me options to back out if needed. They even went above and beyond by allowing me to place an order for the piping to save a substantial amount of money and went to pick up that pipe themselves; and then when it turned out the supplier had made an error, Greenworks gave me a reasonable rate on their own pipe. I do think that the pipe they provide could be a lot cheaper, but given that they really tried to help me find a better price I can't knock them for that.
It ended up being an entire day of work that went far beyond what was initially called for, but I appreciate that they stayed to finish the job and even spent some time raking the soil they'd dug up to get things back in shape.
And I can definitely, absolutely say that it worked! We've put this septic system through its paces since and it hasn't backed up once, despite the rain.
