The original "Scratch & Dent" store in its' original Redding location, it's still the best place for many food & grocery store type items. I have also bought new shirts, jackets & patio furniture at thrift store prices. Their natural competition is Trader Joe's and Safeway, not Winco or Costco. Apart from the beer & wine selection which is justly famous for variety & value, the store is full of treasures, imports, and absolute gems. Take your time sifting through them & enjoy the journey, savor the savings. DOUG out
