Growers Direct

I love Growers Direct! This is my weekly go to for fresh local f&v, organic f&v, good prices and wonderful daily specials! If I lived closer I would be here daily! The staff is always kind and helpful especially Pilar!!

The new layout in the store gives plenty of room for shoppers to socially distance while choosing from a well-stocked supply of produce. My family is always happy with the quality of food that we get here!

Growers direct used to be a place of great quality and although their customer service has always left much to be desired, it has continuously gone down along with the quality of their produce. It makes me sad to say this because my husband and I were huge fans of growers direct and recommended it to friends and family frequently. We were also very regular customers to this store however in the last 6+ months this store has become what I call the Walmart of produce. Yes it’s cheap but if you want quality and any customer service, this place isn’t for you. Sadly, we have been finding better produce at stater brothers than we have here. Today was likely our last day in the store after too many trips of struggling to find produce that isn’t moldy, bruised, or wilted and purchasing a few moldy items without realizing until we got home in addition to some rude experiences we have had in this store that I was willing to overlook because of the price/used to be quality produce. If you want quality produce, I have to recommend Trader Joe’s next door (amazing customer service as well), Whole Foods, or Sprouts. Sad that growers has gone so down hill from what it once was a handful of years ago.
