A gorgeous selection of both exotic and classic houseplants at a reasonable prices, local art and a friendly, knowledgeable store owner there to chat plants. There are even resident fish.
I wasn't able to take home any plants because I was just visiting Burien and had 3 flights home the next day, but I did get just the right pot and medium to upgrade the home of my little adopted orchid, Pearl.
Definitely check this place out next time you are in cute, Downtown Burien!
Growing Crazy
First, what a clever name for a plant museum—yes, I declare it's a museum. I found this shop after reading a customer’s Google review on a different nursery—I am so pleased with that customer's recommendation. 😊
Cheryl, the owner, and curator, is THE botanist supreme with a beautifully laid-out plant shop. There is so much to learn and see. I purchased a new pot and plant, a new pot stand, and some plant care items. Cheryl also replanted my Golden Pothos and added fresh soil. She is knowledgeable and an incredible resource for new or seasoned plant parents. 🪴 I highly recommend Growing Crazy for ANY of your plant needs.
Cheryl, if you have the time/desire, I suggest hosting a Q & A or a series of plant-learning classes. I would purchase tickets or attend an event.
