We switched to GLMS in Oakland from another preschool last December and could not be happier with the decision. Our son started in the Hummingbirds class with Koey and Amy and is in the Owls class this year. He is loves it so much that he complains that we are too early no matter what time we pick him up. He could be the last one to be picked up and he would still say we are too early! When I asked him how many stars he would give GLMS on Yelp he said "one hundred million thousand stars." I told him that five stars is the max, but he still insisted on giving GLMS one hundred million thousand stars. Needless to say, GLMS is a pretty fun place and the teachers are amazing, but it also offers an incredible substantive program. The kids learn to be independent, creative thinkers, and compassionate human beings. Bonus: they also come home singing absolutely adorable songs, with the current favorite being one about continents. We will be sending our youngest to the Honeybees class next year when she is two. One hundred million thousand stars for GLMS!
