Same as it's always been for 40 years that I've been going to Guitar center. Nobody asks you if you need any help and nobody gives a damn if you're there. About a third of what I was looking at didn't have a price (acoustic guitar accessories) , but all in all it's what I expected. Music stores don't tend to be too hospitable, it's just part of the failed musician experience.

The experience ended up being terrible! Ordered an Electra Mpc X930, charcoal burst, they claimed it was in good condition, to be shipped to Columbus ohio store. The modules were missing and the strings were loose. I was reassured it was in good working Condition. From reading the reviews, this is a normal business practice with GC, at least in San Fran.

For once, a clean well-stocked GC where the stuff all works! Not much on the higher end except the usual Gibson 335s and custom Fenders, but tons of low-to-moderate priced players and some nice vintage.
