Extremely dishonest and unprofessional doctor. The doctor provided inaccurate information during the visit, billed for things that were not asked for and did make any attempt to make it known that she was discussing things that would be billed separately. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I was a patient of Dr. Hanson's briefly before the pandemic hit. I moved from the East Side to Vashon during its height in 2020. I sought her out because Dr. Hanson is a doctor of the future. She is in the business of preventing disease, whereas most western medical doctors are the business of prolonging it by treating it symptomatically. When I saw that she promotes whole-food, plant-based nutrition, I approached her and am glad I did. I had only recently become plant-centered when I met her, and appreciated that she considered this a primary tool of her practice of medicine. Down the road, you will see many MDs admitting that nutrition is an imperative in medical care. It's just a matter of time. Do yourself a favor and choose a primary provider like Dr. Hanson, whether MD or ND. Be a part of the future, not the past.
