Husband got a haircut and I got some hair product. Told them I wanted the percentage tip applied to the haircut but not the product (of course). They assured me that the tip percentage would be based on the service alone and not on the hair product cost. I foolishly believed them. I just looked at the receipt and it turns out the tip percentage was applied to the whole bill. So we paid almost $12 tip on a (mediocre) $35 haircut. This is just plain dishonest.
