Marcen Micek, the owner of Handy Pioneers, was great to work with. Finding a reliable, professional handyman is challenging, to say the least. Once we connected by Thumbtack, he did a great job staying in touch. He was working (on a Sunday) but called me late that evening to discuss my projects. He arrived today as scheduled, texting to confirm ETA. When he arrived, we discussed each task, he took photos confirming what I wanted. One small project (securing a drawer needing replacement screws) was done quickly. The other job - hanging two special art pieces and hiding electrical wiring behind the wall was a delicate piece of work. He suggested adding flexible cable wall plates so the art would take top billing. A couple of trips to Home Depot for parts were required along with drilling holes for the plates. The work took a little longer than either of us anticipated but the final result? Excellent! I'm glad we met. I will definitely hire Marcen again whenever I need that kind of service. Truly a pleasure working with him!
