I love these stores. So sad that they're going out of business. Get the deals while you can!

Simply one of the most diverse places around. Catered to collectors, book junkies and doubled as a movie rental place. Unfortunately they are now out of business.

How does one express as great a displeasure as that of shopping at hastings, I've picked through my mind from the medulla oblongata to the frontal lobe to find such a word to describe these various incidents but alas i have come to the conclusion that there exists no word in this language that may perfectly describe this situation. With this in mind I have decided to describe such a situation that i might parallel to that of mine. I have decided to choose a scene from the cult classic film Pulp Fiction; in this scene (which i do hope all are familiar with, no matter how disturbing it may be) Marsellus Wallace has been clad in a form of bondage, and strapped to a table or log of some sort. I might add that this ensemble of a uniform comes complete with a red gage ball. The camera zooms out as beads of sweat roll down his face and seem to tickle the dark skin on his lip and another on his cheek. This bead of sweat would be considered a nuisance to people who are in stressful situations but as the viewer soon finds this bead of sweat seems to be the least of Marsellus problems in this very precarious situation that has enveloped around him. Marsellus seems to have attracted the attention of a rapist known only as The Gimp. This Gimp has attached himself to Marsellus posterior in the same way a doctor does to a blonde girl in the Barely Legal video series, or further yet as Assef might do to Hassan when Hassan doesn't want to give up a kite. THIS my friends,THIS is the situation I'm trying to parallel to you. I will further simplify this by labeling the character with their true names. Marsellus I parallel to myself, as for the gimp he is most certainly related to this hastings, this abomination of an establishment has wronged me one to many times, I hope my anecdote will help you in your search for the perfect feature film. As Robert Frosts poem entails there will be a fork in the road at which it is up to you to decide which direction to proceed. I strongly urge that if you look down one road and see the luminescent green lights of hasting casting there ere glow upon the world, you turn and take the latter of the two. FIN
