If you like your calls and emails not to be answered this is the right CPA for you We have unfortunately been part of a group of customers unceremoniously sold by a long time CPA, *, to a CPA firm called Hauser Jones and Sas.That sale occurred at the worst possible time and with no pre notice, on December 31rst 2021 (yes, the 31rst!). We dont have extraordinarily complicated taxes, but they are not simple either and include a variety of revenues, including some abroad and in different US states, so when presented by email, not even with a phone call, with a contract to sign with the new CPA we signed it. The nightmare could start: absolutely NO answer by email or phone from the new company, until I really pressed them by calling the owners cell phone. Then it continued, no answer to my emails with all our taxes material, and by that time we were in March.I finally did get to meet them at the very end of March to hear that despite the fact that I had provided well organized and complete data in February when I signed their contract our taxes wouldnt be ready for the 18th of April and they would file extensions. Getting those extensions prepared was another nightmare of its own, and I finally got them on April 15th!And then, more silence, still no answer to my emails, trying to know when they would finally prepare my taxes: what is the problem on their end when it is us, the customers, paying penalties and interest in the case of undercalculation! I finally lost patience and hired another CPA and cancelled my contract with Hauser Jones and Sas, who had the nerve to invoice me as if they had made my taxes. As I complained about it I was told that they were courteous and would give me a discount, bringing back the total charge to just under $3500 !!!They were paid, as I am courteous, but never again, and now you know enough to make your own decision.
