This was my first time sitting in to eat at this place. I had previously ordered takeout here and actually enjoyed the food, so I assumed the service would be great in person as well. Unfortunately, that was the furthest from our reality. Our server, an elderly White woman did not greet us. In fact, she threw our menus at us and while serving our waters, just slid it towards us aggressively. While ordering, she looked distracted and did not even look at us. We were not done with our order, but she walked away to deal with another customer. When trying to tell her I was not finished with my order and I wanted to add something else, she rolled her eyes and said it’s automatic.
When she bought the food out, she threw it down on the table. She got my order wrong and I informed her of that. She said I did order that and shrugged her shoulders. She then asked what I wanted and said she could get a new one without the meat.
I’ve never felt so disrespected and neglected in my entire life. The rest of the staff were polite and very helpful, so I don’t want to attribute her service to the rest of the staff. She should consider retiring or working somewhere else as her customer service skills are nonexistent.
