My daughter began taking lessons at Heights Piano when she was 7 and has been there for 2 years. Milan is a kind, fun and supportive teacher. He doesn't just teach students how to read music and play a song; he also emphasizes the importance of technique, hand position and weaves in music theory for a well-rounded experience.
Milan meets students where they are to bring out the best in them. If my daughter gets stuck on a theory concept or particular piece of music he is always incredibly patient and flexible. He also provides guidance and tools for parents to support practice at home. The twice yearly recitals are well organized and the students are well prepared for the experience. We couldn't be happier with our choice...Milan and Savannah are the real deal!

Milan Jovic is a wonderful piano instructor! He has been teaching private lessons to my twin children for ~ 4 years. He provides a good balance of serious and fun during the lessons. My children have quite different personalities and Milan is able to adapt to each one's learning style. In addition, he has A LOT of patience as my son had trouble sitting still on the piano bench when he first started! He has helped both of my children develop excellent technique, analyze music and build effective practice habits. My husband and I can't believe the progress they have made year to year. I also love that Milan creates opportunities for my children to perform in front of a live audience. He holds semi-annual performances each year. Not only is he an amazing teacher but he is also a professional pianist with a degree in music.

My son Jordan started taking lessons with Milan Jovic about a year and a half ago, and it is no exaggeration to say that his piano playing has been absolutely transformed. I am blown away by the progress he has made in such a short time! Most importantly, Milan achieves these results with a warm and caring manner. I cannot say enough good things about Milan’s skills as a piano instructor.
