Such a wonderfully beautiful place, so amazingly peaceful and completely serene. Tranquility and true oneness with yourself, your surroundings, your mind and your life can be reached and tapped into here for certain, and a perfect way to get away from all the stress and pressure that comes with living day-to-day life to recharge and rejuvenate the mind, the body and the soul!

Great place for a picnic. Tables are shaded by trees, fire pit & BBQs aren't the cleanest but it is in a nice spot by the river, and the is a outhouse for when the kids need to go!

This is definitely one of my favorite new places to go to in the mountains this picnic area has the nicest spot on the river, the sandy beach on both sides of hemple creek and wading area i call it that because of the depth is all sand not to deep it's a great place to get wet and cool down in the summer and its hard to find places like this place for the public to use and have access to the river the fire pits are nice and they have BBQ'S there for you also so if you don't have one with you they have the BBQ'S there just bring something to clean it with and your good to go. a really good place to bring the kids or just a great place if your with someone or by yourself you won't be disappointed.
