Already had so many things going wrong when the alternator on my car decided to give up in the worst spot on Williams. Trapped in a 5 minute pickup zone, none of my nearby friends were equipped to get me out, and the idea of any tow truck blocking traffic here to get me out of the awkward pocket I rolled into was stressful to say the least.

Randy to the rescue.

He pulled up, figured the situation out, played traffic cop to set up a safe loading setup, then towed me out quick to where I needed the car to go. He had it handled so I could stop feeling like a basket case. Randy was great, it felt like a cool uncle who's good with cars coming to get me out of trouble. And on the drive we talked about history of the neighborhood and his Coors Light branded fire poker he scored that morning. It made a tense situation feel more safe, I appreciated it.
