We ordered the brisket and pork ribs with a side of mac and cheese, and everything was phenomenal. The brisket melted in our mouths, and the pork ribs had fantastic flavor. We were not expecting the sides to be exceptional, but the mac and cheese was some of the best we have ever had!
Heritage Barbecue is a charming spot in the heart of San Juan Capistrano, conveniently located right across from the Mission and within walking distance of the train station. Just a heads up—they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The line can be long and slow-moving, but don't let that deter you from trying this amazing BBQ. You can also order ahead and pick up if you're in a hurry.
