Shelby was a pleasure to work with and the event location rental fee was affordable. The location was beautiful and offered everything we needed. Our catering was done through Shelby and the food was above our expectations. It was a great day all around.

So far this has been a terrible experience but at first it started off great. We met Shelby Nelson for a tour and already knew we were going to pick this venue. After all was said and done we find out their listed prices are from around 2018 and need "updating". Why not mention that on the phone?!? It would have been nice to know BEFORE taking a tour this way people know and might decide not to waste their time. We were told the new prices and ability to reserve a date would be out the first week in November. That week came and went and we heard absolutely nothing from Shelby. It was frustrating and after numerous phone calls and emails she finally emailed us back. The amount of effort it took to get a hold of the person who's coordinating all the wedding events is unacceptable. I also got the feeling that she used email because she didn't want to talk on the phone to avoid any hard questions in real time. Shelby said they're still trying to figure out the prices and that they should be out around Thanksgiving. Again, that week came and went. I had to call around again and again and finally got help from someone else. We were told they understand the frustration and realize if we need to pick another venue. It's very odd, because if you're trying to list your business for you know.....business (in this case hosting weddings) you think you would want people to select your venue. Now almost two months after a tour there is still nothing. They claim they are hosting weddings in 2023. It's hard to see how they can do that when it's December and you can't reserve a date, they don't know the prices and have catering problems. Also, one of the reviews is Shelby who runs the weddings. Rating your own work is a conflict of interest...
