Right now I’m frantically trying to return the car to Hertz. My dad passed away and I’ve been trying to return it, but they are closed at on Sat. and all day Sun. No Drop box.
So I called the airport Hertz in San Diego. They won’t let me return it there. After I told them my father had died and told him the situation. He told me that hertz can’t help me.
Why does a rental place close early on Sat. and all day Sun. and not have a drop box. Because this is a way to steal the money you worked for. This lets them scam money if you can’t get it back by noon Sat. They get to charge you for 2 day if you needed the car or not.
So I can’t be with my mother right now. Instead I have to figure out how to get this car back here once I take the flight.
So please please please, don’t go through hertz. At least not this location. They were nice when I rented it. But once that is done, they don’t care for the costumer. The corporation or the location.
Everything is automated, we do all the paperwork online. Why are there any employees?? Couldn’t you just replace them with donkeys that do the same thing? They are smarter, nicer, and they will work Sundays. Think about it. P.O.S.
