My teenage son had an exceptional experience at Highline PT for a knee injury. Sandy’s expertise and personalized approach made a significant difference in his recovery. Sandy provided clear guidance, tailored exercises, and constant support, ultimately helping him to regain strength and mobility. I highly recommend their services.

More than physical therapy - Highline PT and their staff have provided me a comprehensive experience that has been great for my mental and emotional well-being too! My prior PT experience at another competing clinic was very cold and careless; felt like my doctor nor the staff took the time to get to know me. On my very first day with Sandy, she was curious about my life and the physical mobility that makes me happy. She wanted to know details about my accident and what sport/tasks I was missing in my life, which therefore has affected my mental health. From then on, I feel as though I’ve become friends with Sandy, and Neely at the front desk as well. Each week I am excited to go to therapy because it feels like full body therapy, including the brain. I am always excited to tell Sandy about progress and milestones I achieved that week and she is genuinely excited to hear about even the smallest of accomplishments. When some of your physical abilities have been taken away from you, it’s easy to feel discouraged like it’s a very long road to return to normalcy; but with Sandy, it feels achievable. She emphasizes that each and every tiny thing is progress and it’s that kind of support I need while I recover. The focus is on movement in general, as opposed to the focus being on the intensity of movement, which I find helpful. Sandy looks at the patient wholistically; helping them achieve the desired level of mobility that will help them live a full life at home, at work, in the gym, with friends, etc. It is this approach, coupled with the use of positive reinforcement, and the authenticity and care felt from Sandy and Neely, that makes me so excited for therapy each week.

Sandy is a great PT, who really listens and uses her skills and creativity to provide the program you need. Beyond that, she’s a lovely person that you’ll enjoy spending your time with. The facility is bright, open, well-equipped and so conveniently located at LA Fitness in Ballard—one more draw to get to the gym. Neely, who runs the desk and in general helps with everything, is always a friendly, welcoming personality as well.
