Horizon kit is several years old but has suffered 3 failed controllers. Now Hilltopper will not sell me one of their new upgraded controllers unless I spend $300 for an additional battery (I already have 3 batteries in good condition and do not want or need one more).

Customer service is slow and obtuse. They have the parts and won't sell them to me even when they really should be giving them to me for free for all the trouble...

I just used their e-bike again today as I biked 10 miles around the Columbia River. I am one of their "older" clients (73 years old) and I bought the bike parts originally about 10 years ago. So I guess both I and the bike are still working.
