Hillcrest stables is situated in the pines with super easy access in location and a great set up to easily work horses in all year round; there’s a lovely indoor arena for winter work and a very large outdoor arena with a round pen too, wash rack and free trailer parking and just in general, lots of room! The horses primarily live in large outdoor pens that each have a comfy run in shelter, are fed high quality grass hay, and grain and supplements are fed if provided. My horses were in excellent condition while there and my one very difficult to put weight on youngster started to gain weight while at Hillcrest. I very unfortunately had to move them due to learning that the “trainer” there was not able to accomplish work I required (she has fortunately since snuck out in the middle of the night and left without giving a single bit of notice). That said, Barb and Robert run a lovely family oriented stable in a relaxed atmosphere now trainer free (no more drama) and bonus; on a lovely scenic property that is set up for easy use by equine lovers and trails accessible very close by to trailer to! I highly recommend this facility! I’m a 30 year professional dressage trainer/instructor with my USDF Gold, Silver, Bronze attained by 1996.

This wonderful barn is well cared for, and so are the horses. Great amenities with indoor, and massive outdoor arena. Owners were always happy to accommodate my horses needs.
