I came here to Georgetown as a guest of the new managers and to help out with a couple things. The place has apparently been in a bit of a disarray due to the management change and all that comes with it. The atmosphere is refreshingly quiet and serene, the private driveway makes for a more secure feeling stay; though it's easily accessed off of CA-193. Tenants here now seem comfortable and as for me? I would recommend it. Won't know for yourself until you stay for yourself right? 😁

We stayed at the Hilltop because it was the only thing available the weekend we were there. We were greeted by a note on the door saying someone would be back in 15 minutes. We waited over 15 minutes, then went into town to check things out. When we got back, we finally found someone who was very nice. Got into our room and found that it had two TVs, neither of which worked. Evidently they had lost their cable (or whatever) quite awhile ago. We were advised that DVD players had been available, but a disgruntled former employee had left with all of that. Great ice machine! Quiet and no problems. Would try to find someplace else to stay if we should happen to return to Georgetown. But, in a pinch, it'll do.

The Hilltop is not the Ritz! The proprietors were very friendly and efficient, the room and grounds were very clean, but not the poshest decor. Our room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities, but not luxurious. Parking is tight, and the driveway entrance is a little odd, and not recommended if you have a trailer. Given that the other options in town are B&B's and/or shared bath rooms at half-again what we paid at Hilltop, I would stay there again.
