I liked Dr Abukamleh and I thought he did a great job. Unfortunately, I now feel that his front desk staff are dishonest, and I cannot stand dishonesty. Dr Abukamleh's office requires you to pay your copayment in cash. I saw Dr Abukamleh in April of 23, and in February of 24 I was sent a notification that I owed the $20 copayment for the April 23 visit.

I paid that $20 in April but of course after 8 months I can no longer find the receipt. When I tried to resolve this issue with billing I was yelled at and called a liar by Dr Abukamleh's finance person. I make a good living. It is not the $20 that bothers me. It is that they will not even see you until you pay the $20 and it must be in cash. BUT 8 months later they will charge you and THEN they can take a credit card. That seems very suspicious to me.

I will not deal with a dishonest office. Dr Abukamleh needs to investigate what is happening with his copayments. It is with great sadness that I give up on an excellent doctor, due to the dishonesty of his office staff.
