The entrance of the Chinatown is a neat sight to see. Large numbers of restaurants as well as some business inside. atmosphere is nice and clean. Great attractive must visit for sure.

Has some amazing authentic tasting Chinese restaurants but area is slightly run down with homeless people roaming around.

The Chinatown gate is definitely a indication that you have arrived into Asian town in Seattle. Is it a tourist spot? Maybe, if you just want to see it in passing. But I would not go out of my way to go and see it. There are a few cool Asian shops around here so you may just happen to be in the area to take a picture of it.
