I'm not sure what's up with these bad reviews, but my first experience was nothing less than excellent. While they didn't have a suuuuuper tiny paint brush for painting the fine detail on my 1/100 MG Gundam pilot; I was provided tips on how to get that fine detail. They have all the paint I need for my custom job. I'll for sure be in next week to get my supplies. Shout out to Nick and the other guy (sorry, I didn't see your name) working today.

Watch the young man behind the counter ask for money from a customer and pocket it. “For parts and labor” is what he said. After that I asked about a part they advertise on the counter and is in stock. The young lady had to ask the guy. He just said oh yeah this thing. You need a bunch more stuff to make that work. Then dead air. Silence. Went back to what he was doing and was ignored. Won’t shop here ever again. This store was great years ago. And had some people who knew customer service. Cool store went sketchy. Mail order will get my money from now on. Sorry Hobby Town. You lost out on about $1000 shopping spree.

This was the first time I visited this location and the customer service was sub par at best. I purchased a battery from them trying to support local businesses and when I got home I realized I needed to buy an adapter for my charger. I called them up and they were extremely short with me and they did not have the adapter in stock. No worries I jump on amazon to buy one and realize that the battery I just bought is 20 dollars cheaper on Amazon and they had the adapter I needed. It is not surprising why their inventory is extremely limited. I would rather drive to Tacoma hobby shop than have the same experience that I did here.
