We had such a good time and absolutely loved our room, warm and cozy perfect for the two of us! Snuggled together and watched a great movie with wine and fruit snd of course popcorn!! Did go on the Whiskey train ride and it was so much fun but a little cold but surely enjoyed the awesome music! We also visited the littlest church, it’s absolutely beautiful ❤️

My daughter booked this hotel for us as she was planning our trip to hike Mount Rainier and it is a good location for that. She was so excited and it did not disappoint. Great ambiance and very comfortable beds. I was grateful that another traveler showed a picture of the toilet in a review I read so I was not shocked as it is too small and has to be sat on sideways. The shower was very small as well. When checking in, I was given a choice of how much of a tip to give and I was very surprised since I have not experienced giving hotel tips before I have even seen the room but I was in a hurry as all the restaurants in the area close early so I hit the 15% which ended up being $36 for a total of $278 bill for the night. The experience was charming and I would stay again. We ate at Wildberry Restaurant for dinner which was excellent. We had the momos and warm marionberry pie. Delicious! The owner is a Guiness world record holder for climing Mount Everest 15 times. |

We have spent night at caboose 2 at Hobo Inn for our anniversary. Overall we had fun stay as this place is pretty unique. That being said, couple things to mention that were not ideal. First of all, I had to make reservation over the phone, as there is no online booking system. This led to them mispronounce my name on the reservation, which is whatever. The caboose itself is cute room inside of railroad car on the side of the road. Small bathroom, bed and tv with old dvd player and movies (and popcorn!). There is a dining room car and also a lounge. Unfortunately the lounge was closed (no idea why). The dining room is ok but food is very overpriced. We wanted to get pizza and sit outside the pizza train car but they only take cash (what century is this?). That was bit disappointing. We had fun stay, this is a cute place to explore and have some unusual hotel experience.
