Our boy's baseball teams were there for a tournament over a June weekend. They were renovating (and still are) the first floor. Safety concerns everywhere (no caution tape used) and strong paint and dust fumes. The free breakfast was served on the first floor. When we got there, we didn't fully check our room. Then my daughter had a shower. There was hair in the drain and I know it wasn't any of ours. No cleaning in the room when we asked the first day even though they said it would happen. One of our baseball kids got really sick as he had asthma. Unfortunately we had to stay there through EventConnect - we had no choice. Will never ever stay there again and will not recommend this place to anyone.

This is by far one of the worst Holiday Inn & Suites I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel is currently undergoing renovations, but the level of cleanliness is unacceptable. Upon checking in, we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned—beds unmade and everything dirty. After complaining, we were moved to another room that seemed cleaner at first, but we soon found trash in the dresser drawer, and the tile floor was sticky, clearly not mopped. The following morning, breakfast was a disaster, with dirty service items and food residue all over the exterior of the hot food dispensers. It’s clear the management doesn’t care about maintaining basic standards

The rooms were what you'd expect from a Holiday Inn. The location is unfortunately less desirable, but that's just Spokane in general. However, only complaint was an associate (I think her name was Marci?) Seemed to be distraught about not getting some sort of promotion. I understand it's super frustrating, as that's happened to me in the past. But, it seems like if you're going to be complaining about it in an area where customers can hear, then quite honestly, you aren't really ready for something like that. Just seemed like she was souring the mood for other associates, and made a pretty awkward environment. Everything else was great, which is why I want to give the rating deserved, and not let the things out of the company's control have an effect on its rating.
