What can you say about the Holiday Lodge? Anyone on Earth might find it to be a tough challenge to collect themselves and give this lodging a comprehensive review. For me, I've given it a week to collect myself and my thoughts, though I won't claim this to be comprehensive but if is by the end, you're very welcome. I arrived at the lodge promptly at 3 in the morning. Problem? Nope. No complaints from anyone (besides my sore lids!) Get to the front door of the office, it's locked, but I knew it would be locked! So no worries:) Not only does the front desk attendant greet me, they gave me a great deal. Pull up to the room with key in hand (Real Key, NO PLASTIC), turn the lock click and walk in. Wow. No smell whatsoever (rare), there was a box in the corner built out of the wall? I didn't ask. There are two lamps thoughtfully placed between the beds but no outlet there for them to be powered which gave us all a good laugh. The beds were really soft and I slept like a babe but unfortunately I think the softness made my back hurt a bit later so I gotta dock a star (sorry), also there is no A/C which should be normalized but my two roommates got a little hot one night so out of respect for them I guess I'll dock another star (sorry). The shower is good for icy, scalding, and anything in between-pick your poison. Eventually I liked the taste of the tap. Like others have mentioned some of the towels have stains but surely they are washed and get the job done in a pinch, share the "all-whites" if you must. There's a fridge, and even coffee in the lobby.
I am not an extraordinary person, and people are more alike than we are different. I loved my time here at the Holiday Lodge, and I am sure that you will too.
