EDITED:
Thank you to HCFP for your reply! I have updated my stars because I think they received and responded to my feedback well. I can't judge quality of care, but I appreciate that my input was taken seriously. I hope that some of the clients who are currently receiving care here will consider sharing their experience and rating for prospective clients.
(Original review below)
Be aware that HCFP is not accepting new clients right now and have no availability. This information isn't currently available on their front page, and I want to save others with limited resources some time.
They have a waitlist, but they ask you to fill out a detailed questionnaire and also do a screening interview (with some of the same questions as the questionnaire) to get a place on that waitlist. In my case, once I scheduled the screening, they cancelled it on the same day due to scheduling conflicts and asked to reschedule. I have decided to invest this time instead in continuing my search (and a little in providing this review and feedback).
To their credit, they provide a form for accessibility requests for their website, which I used to ask them to update their home page with availability information. I'm disappointed in my experience, as they do appear to provide unique offerings for neurodivergent clients and they seem to have non-binary and LGBT representation among staff, so I hope others have more luck with this group.
Several years ago, we began seeking the help of Marie Loeb at Holistic Child and Family Therapy Clinic for one of our sons, who had been diagnosed with sensory processing disorder. After our first family meeting with Marie, it became clear that we needed to improve our overall family dynamics. Since then, Marie has been our counselor and therapist, guiding us through many challenges and transformations.
More recently, I reached out to Marie with a personal goal: I wanted to be a better dad, man, entrepreneur, and person overall. Marie has helped me achieve significant progress, from changing my workaholic behaviors to embracing and being compassionate about my neurodivergence. She has helped me recognize and accept my authentic self, which has led to recognizing and appreciating my family, friends, and clients with a deeper sense of meaning and reduced stress and overwhelm.
Marie’s dedication to her clients is matched by the professionalism of her staff. Holistic Child and Family Therapy Clinic has an important mission to expand accessible and equitable mental health care, training, and consultation by and for Neurodivergent, Queer, and marginalized people. I am privileged to have had the opportunity to benefit from Marie and her team's help. Their commitment to their mission and their clients has made a profound impact on my life and my family's well-being.
Thank you, Marie, from the bottom of my heart, for all your help and the profound impact you've had on my family's and my well-being.
