Hollywood Sign

Erected in 1923, this symbolic landmark on Mount Lee is often viewed from Griffith Park Observatory.

The best view was exactly as I expected and was part of my plan to visit. I really enjoyed it. You can park your car at 6301 Innsdale Dr, CA, and follow the signs to reach the top. The hike could take 1-2 hours, depending on how fast you hike.

We decided to go up as far as we could to get close enough for good pictures with the sign. It’s a residential area so you can only go as far as the ‘no parking’ signs permit. A little hiking didn’t kill nobody.

The Hollywood sign is incredible. We hiked up there with a friend, took some photos, and enjoyed the stunning view of the city. Afterwards, we walked around the neighborhood, admiring the magnificent homes.
