I stayed here two nights the first weekend of July and I won't again. It's the cheapest motel in the valley for a reason, like a lot of the other reviews though, the staff was nice and friendly. The place is dirty and falling apart. I had a non-smoking room but could still smell it through the walls. I found a curly black hair stuck in a "clean" towel and a bug fell out of another "clean" towel. There is a large gap between the floor and bottom of the main door to the outside. I found several spiders crawling around on the floor, an earwig, and bugs in the bathroom trash. I'm surprised I didn't come home with bedbugs. I'd brought Sani-wipes and Lysol with me anyway, but I ended up going to Walmart and getting a fitted sheet and pillowcases to put over the bed and blanket they provided. What was nice was the bed wasn't too soft and the AC worked well. There was someone up on the next level with their door open hacking up what I could only assume was a 20+ year smoker's lung. There is a sign in the lobby that states no animals, however someone else on the upper level had a cat sitting in their window. As a woman alone I did not feel safe here, even though I'd bought an additional security lock from Amazon beforehand. I'll be coming to Spokane every few months but will definitely splurge for somewhere cleaner and safer.
